Poverty Law Conference (and Pro Bono Coordinators Retreat Pre-Conference)
This annual training event includes a 1 1/2 day PBCR preconference for pro bono coordinators from legal aid offices, law firms, law schools, or corporate law departments and is designed to increase the quantity and quality of legal services available to the poor through pro bono efforts. The PLC is a three-day training on poverty law issues affecting low-income and poor Texans.

Legal Aid Task Forces
The Legal Access Department provides logistical support to eight Legal Aid Task Forces. Task force meetings offer legal aid attorneys the opportunity to meet and network with others in their field of practice, and to stay informed on changes in the law through CLE trainings. The following Legal Aid Task Forces are supported by the Legal Access Department:
