Harper Estes is a shareholder in Lynch, Chappell & Alsup, P.C. in Midland, where he has practiced for 27 years with an emphasis in commercial trial work, oil and gas litigation, and as a mediator and arbitrator. Estes has served the Midland County Bar Association in the capacity of president, president-elect, vice president, and secretary/treasurer. He has served on the State Bar Board of Directors and as chair of the District 16-B Grievance Committee. He has served as a director of the Texas Young Lawyers Association and as secretary/treasurer of the Midland County Young Lawyers Association.
Estes is certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a Sustaining Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. His community involvement includes leadership roles with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the First Presbyterian Church of Midland, Midland Fairhavens, and the Texas Book Festival.
Estes earned a B.A. from Texas Tech University and a J.D. from
Baylor Law School.
