Constitution Day

Each year, a national celebration commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787, which created the framework for a strong but limited national government and established the fundamental rights of all U.S. citizens.

As lawyers who have been sworn to uphold the Constitution, we have the perfect opportunity to educate students in our communities about our justice system and the rule of law.

These organizations have created their own Constitution Day content. Review them and the Constitution Facts website to help develop your own event:

Law-Related Education (LRE)

The American Bar Association (ABA)
